Reviewing the Weber Genesis E-310 LP Gas Grill
The Weber Genesis E-310 LP Gas Grill is one of the best propane gas grills you can get. The Weber name says it all.
I found the Weber Genesis E-310 LP Grill at Wal-Mart for $699.97. This might seem pricey to some, but I wanted the quality I knew I would get from a Weber grill.
I got it home and unpacked all the parts. I tried using the enclosed wrench to assemble the grill, and after a few minutes of that, got out my ratchets. Once I did that, the assembly went a lot smoother.
I got the Weber Genesis E-310 LP Gas Grill all set up, and hooked up the gas tank. Once nice thing about getting the grill at a Wal-Mart is they sell the LP tanks right there for around fifty bucks. You can exchange and empty one for around eighteen.
Anyway, I had gotten some hamburger patties, and hot dogs ready to go, and fired up the Weber Genesis E-310 LP Gas Grill. You get plenty of cooking space, 507 square inches to be precise. You also get a 130 square inch warming rack, so you can put food that is cooked faster up there to keep it warm.
I like the three burner design and you get plenty of cooking heat, at 42,000BTUs. and the Weber Genesis E-310 LP Gas Grill gives you porcelain coated cooking racks as well as built in "flavorizer" bars. I am not really sure how this works but it adds flavor to what you cook, and gives you great sear marks on your burgers, chicken and steaks.
The Weber Genesis E-310 LP Gas Grill is easy to start, with the crossover electronic ignition system. You don't have to wonder what the temperature is, because the shroud has a center mounted thermometer that takes care of the guess work.
The cabinet of the Weber Genesis E-310 LP Gas Grill gives you the perfect place to put the LP tank. It sits on the shelf right under the grill, and is hidden by the doors.
There are two working surfaces, but the one on the right has the controls for the burners, so you lose some work space there, and the one on the left is not much bigger than a plate. However you do get 6 hooks to hang cooing utensils, so that makes up for it to some degree.
Overall, I have to say that I am very pleased with the Weber Genesis E-310 LP Gas Grill. It was definitely well worth the money. I think I am going to buy a rotisserie for it next!
