My Three Favorite Strip Clubs in Kansas City, Missouri
This article reviews my three favorite strip joints in Kansas City, Missouri.
But add to that list of attractions three great strip joints that can be found within the city limits. While there are more than four strip joints in Kansas City, in my travels there I have found the following four to be the best.
Bazooka's Showgirls

To me, Bazooka's Showgirls is the best strip joint in all of Kansas City. Its location is great; it is steps away from other nightlife and has an upscale and friendly crowd both around and in it.
As an all nude strip joint, Bazooka's does not offer alcohol on the premises, but the Bulldog Bar and Grill is located right next door and Bazooka's encourages its patrons to stop there before, during and after for a cocktail. The night that I was there, many people (including me) made several trips back and forth.
Of course, the critical component of this or any other strip joint is the quality of the dancers. Believe me, Bazooka's Showgirls will not let you down. The dancers are friendly, sexy and eager to please. They offer the traditional all nude stage dances, private table dance and even will give you a great massage at your chair. This strip joint is not to be missed the next time you are in Kansas City.
Shady Lady Lounge

As the name might imply, Kansas City's Shady Lady Lounge is a bit, shall we say, on the shadier side of things. Okay, that was too easy, but the reality is that unlike Bazooka's Showgirls, the Shady Lady Lounge doesn't seem to aspire to be an ultra high end strip joint. That said, the Shady Lady Lounge is not a dive. It is a lot of fun, and a 'down to earth' strip joint. The women are approachable, friendly, but not too aggressive. The bar has plenty to select from and the staff is customer friendly and overall the place is reasonably well kept and clean. Certainly, your dollars will go farther here than most, but you are not dealing with a dangerous or dirty strip joint. This is probably not the choice to bring important clients or a wife or girlfriend, but a fun night out for a bachelor party, a quick couple of drinks and a hot lap dance.
Diamond Joe's

Diamond Joe's has the reputation of having the absolute hottest strip joint dancers of any Kansas City establishment. While of course that's always a matter of opinion, Diamond Joe's is certainly worthy of being in that debate. The night that I was there I was amazed that every single one of their dancers was of extremely high caliber. As somebody used to New York City strip joints, I sometimes can be disappointed in traveling to other cities, particularly those in the Midwest. Well, Diamond Joe's did not disappoint me at all. In fact, I would highly recommend it if you live or work in Kansas City.
Now, if there is a downside, it is that some of the strippers were a bit overly aggressive, but that's hardly a big complaint. Some might even see it as a plus, but keep in mind that their overtures are not free and they are businesswomen just as much of the crowd are businessmen.
So the next time you are in Kansas City, or if you live there, and are in the mood for some great adult fun, visit one of these strip joints for a great time.
